Today I received in the mail a copy of a Favorable Decision issued for one of my clients. After fighting tooth and nail with the Social Security Administration for over five years, the Administrative Law Judge awarded the case, finding my client entitled to Social Security Disability Income Benefits as of March 2002. The case was denied twice by Social Security and it was appealed twice. Each time the higher court, the Appeals Council, remanded the case for a new hearing. We never gave up because we knew we were right. It is a great feeling when you call your clients and tell them they have one less thing to worry about and everything is going to be fine.
