Veterans Day – Friday, November 11, 2022

by | Nov 8, 2022 | Veterans' Issues |

November 11th officially became a day to honor American veterans of all wars beginning in June 1954.  Since 1978, Veterans Day has been observed on November 11th, regardless of the day of the week on which it falls.  The observance of Veterans Day on November 11 preserves the historical significance of the date and helps focus attention on the important purpose of Veterans Day: a celebration to honor America’s Veterans for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good.

Our firm has the great honor of serving disabled Veterans daily in their claims for service connection and entitlement to total disability based on individual unemployability.  This year we cannot wait to participate in our community’s activities: Flag Raising Ceremony at USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, Parade through downtown Mobile, Honors Luncheon at Fort Whiting,  and the Parade of Flags Celebration and Veterans Day Concert at USS Alabama Battleship Memorial.

Gardberg & Kemmerly would like to thank all veterans for their service to our country.  We appreciate and honor your sacrifice.
