Once again, Gardberg and Kemmerly is raising funds for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. This year, the walk is being held on October 31, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. at Spanish Plaza Park, 401 Government Street, Mobile, AL. They also have a 5K you can participate in before the walk. The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks are the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation. Walk participants raise critical funds that enable the American Cancer Society to fund innovative research, provide free information and support to anyone touched by breast cancer, and help people reduce their breast cancer risk or find it early when it’s most treatable.
Our largest fundraiser each year here at Gardberg and Kemmerly is our annual bake sale. The bake sale will be Thursday, October 15, through Friday, October 16, at our office at 1015 Montlimar Drive, Mobile, AL 36609. We will be offering fresh baked goods and specialty drinks at 9 am every morning for you to come get breakfast, coffee, and goodies to take to your home or office. As always, handmade cakes, cookies, and baked goods will be abundant. Specially created non-alcoholic drinks will also be available.
Come support the ongoing effort to fight breast cancer in the Mobile area. Bake Sale is open Thursday from 9 am to 4 pm and Friday 9 am to 2 pm. We will also have the BIG PINK CHAIR to climb in for a great photo opportunity.
