Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Gardberg & Kemmerly Supports Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 2022

On Behalf of | Oct 13, 2022 | In The Community |

If you’ve followed our blogs, you know that Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a very special time around Gardberg and Kemmerly.  Our own Christine Cumbie is a breast cancer survivor and her story is a source of inspiration for many of us!  For me personally, a very dear friend’s mother lost her battle when I was an older teenager.  When my grandmother, Freda Brady, was diagnosed, I was very scared.  But she was able to beat cancer and is now a survivor.  Right now, one of my best friends is starting her battle against breast cancer. So raising awareness and funds for groundbreaking research and services for people battling breast cancer is a personal mission for me and Gardberg and Kemmerly.

This year, the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides against Breast Cancer walk will be held on October 29, 2022 at Spanish Plaza Park (401 Government Street, Mobile, Alabama).

We would love for you to join our own Gardberg and Kemmerly Super Hero team!  You can join by clicking here! The hope of Gardberg and Kemmerly is that one day there will be no breast cancer!  We represent many disabled people and so many have been affected by breast cancer.  Our goal again this year is to raise $20,000 for Making Strides!  Our aim is to have 100 team members, with at least $100 each in donations, which would raise our total to $10,000.  Once we reach that goal, Mr. Colin Kemmerly, our managing partner, has graciously agreed to match that amount with a $10,000 donation, raising our team total to $20,000!!!!

Please join us on October 29, 2022 at Spanish Plaza Park for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in beautiful downtown Mobile and join us at Gardberg & Kemmerly in helping to put an end to breast cancer!

At Gardberg & Kemmerly, we want to help our community as much as we can – that includes helping our clients with Social Security Disability claims, as well as Veterans’ disability claims.  We are committed to helping the injured and disabled obtain the benefits they deserve.  If you need help with a disability claim, call the office at 251-343-1111 or 800-332-1529 for a free consultation.
