VW’s Cheat Scam

Volkswagen has intentionally and systematically cheated customers, lied to the government, and mislead the public. Diesel automobiles cost approximately $1,000 to $7,000 more for those equipped with fuel-saving engines. The EPA alleges that Volkswagen inserted software in their cars that turned on their emissions controls when the cars were being tested, but turned them off when they were back on the road.

On September 18, 2015, the U.S. Environmental Agency ordered Volkswagen to recall approximately 480,000 diesel powered cars in the United States.

Cars subject to recall are as follows:

Audi A3 2010-2015

Beetle 2012-2015

Beetle Convertible 2012-2015

Golf 2010-2015

Golf SportWagen 2015

Jetta 2009-2015

Jetta SportWagen 2009-2014

Passat 2012-2015
