Family Promise of Coastal Alabama is a non-profit group working to address the problems of poverty and homelessness in Mobile and Baldwin counties. Family Promise provides temporary shelter, meals, and support services to families without homes. Family Promise assists families in identifying and solving issues that lead to homelessness and prepare families for success in the community once those families have been able to secure safe, permanent housing. Families have the opportunity to get assistance with getting the necessary education to ensure employability, learn job stability skills, learn how to budget, and learn parenting skills.
