Mobile Area Veteran-of-the-Year Award

The Mobile Area Veterans Day Commission is currently seeking nominations for the 2013 Veteran-of-the-Year. The award is designed to recognize a Mobile Bay Area Veteran who has not only served our country but has utilized leadership skills and abilities learned in service to better the community through selfless volunteer service to the Mobile Bay Area.

Possible nominees must be a resident of either Mobile or Baldwin County and served in one of the five Armed Forces of the United States. The winner will be named at the Veteran’s Day Luncheon by the Mobile Bay Area Veteran’s Day Commission on November 11, 2013.

The award is coordinated with the Mobile Chamber of Commerceand a complete guide for qualifications and a form for nominations can be found here.
