THE BLUE WATER NAVY VIETNAM VETERANS ACT OF 2011

by | Dec 19, 2011 | Veterans Disability Benefits |

On December 8, 2011, House Bill HR-3612 The Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans Act of 2011 was introduced. The Bill is a companion Bill to Senate Bill S. 1629; The Agent Orange Equity Act of 2011, introduced earlier this year. The House version represents a compromise that would enable “Blue Water Sailor” veterans establishing proof of service up to 12 miles off-shore of Vietnam to receive VA disability compensation, on proof of medical evidence that they suffer from any of the diseases linked to Agent Orange exposure.

Gardberg stand ready to assist all veterans in their struggle to obtain the disability compensation they are entitled to. We will continue to monitor Congressional action on both the House and Senate Bills in this area.

Please contact Gardberg if you or a family member have any questions concerning VA disability or pension compensation.
