Ozanam Charitable Pharmacy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves the needs of the community in Mobile, Baldwin, and Escabmia counties by providing prescriptions to those who cannot afford their medications. Ozanam Charitable Pharmacy’s patients do not have prescription coverage and are screened by case managers to assure that they need the help of the pharmacy, at no cost to the patient.

Ozanam Charitable Pharmacy is hosting the S.S. Lucky Ducky on April 21, 2016 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Alabama Contemporary Art Center in downtown Mobile. The Alabama Contemporary Art Center is located at 301 Conti Street. The event will feature local cuisine, an art auction, chances to win prizes in the duck pond, and live music. All proceeds from the event go directly to the work of Ozanam Charitable Pharmacy and their mission to provide medications for those who cannot afford them. Tickets are $50.00 on Eventbrite and $60 the night of the event. Ozanam Charitable Pharmacy is a great resource to many who are in the process of applying for Social Security disability or Supplemental Security Income. Many people are not covered under insurance while they are waiting for their claim to be approved and cannot afford their medications. Ozanam provides a wonderful service to the community to improve the quality of life for so many uninsured in our city. Ozanam Charitable Pharmacy is located at 109 South Cedar Street in downtown Mobile.
