Linda Finley Clausen

Linda F. Clausen grew up in Huntsville, Alabama and graduated from Huntsville High School.  Four years later she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, with Honors.  Ms. Clausen received the degree of Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law, in 1986.  Since that time she has become a member in good standing with the Bar Association in Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi. 

As a trial lawyer Ms. Clausen has practiced law in both state and federal court.  Ms. Clausen is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Alabama Association for Justice, the South Alabama Trial Lawyer's Association and the Mobile Bar Association.

Ms. Clausen's areas of practice include personal injury law, truck and motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, medical malpractice, mass torts, product liability, and burn injuries.  She succeeded in setting new precedent in the field of premises liability by wining an appeal to the Supreme Court of Alabama in Denmark v. Mercantile Stores Company, Inc., 844 So.2d 1189 (Ala. 2002).  This decision helped to level the playing field in an area of law that is traditionally very difficult for plaintiffs to recover their damages.

Ms. Clausen is dedicated to representing injury victims against large insurance companies.  For over twenty-three years she has successfully helped injured people recover millions of dollars in damages.
